Amiram Exams

AMIRAM is a computerized English level placement test designated for two groups:

  1. Candidates (including those accepted on condition) who have not yet submitted proof of English knowledge
  2. Students and candidates who still haven't reached English exemption level and are interested in improving their level.

For your convenience, the Hebrew University conducts AMIRAM tests on the Mount Scopus Campus.

You can also take the test at the new NITE exam centers. for details- https://www.nite.org.il/other-tests/amiram/registration-for-the-test/

The AMIRAM test is identical in content to the AMIR test and the English section of the Psychometric Entrance Test.

You will receive your test score immediately after the test. However, the score is not final until NITE sends the scores to the Hebrew University (within approx. 10 days).

You are allowed to take the test multiple times a year but must wait at least 35 days before retaking it.

Tests take place between 9:00 - 16:00. After payment, candidates are allocated times slots and cannot book themselves into desired time slots.
