Psychology – All Specializations
Application deadline: February 23, 2022. Candidates must also register with the department and submit two letters of recommendation on special forms that are available on the website.
Candidates must hold a BA in Psychology and have passed courses equivalent to the required courses of the Hebrew University’s Department of Psychology.
Candidates must take the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) – both the subject test in Psychology and the general test, or the Mit'am Examination offered in Hebrew. All documents, including GRE scores and letters of recommendation, must reach the Overseas Applicants Unit no later than March 15, 2022. Only complete applications will be considered.
Candidates who did not take the GRE exam prior to December 2021 or the Mit'am Examination in October 2021 will not be eligible for admission for the 2022/23 academic year. Note that GRE test scores are valid for five years. Candidates for the Individual Research Program can apply without the GRE but must present an agreement with a research supervisor.
Suitable candidates will be interviewed in May. Decisions will be announced by the end of June.
The specialization in Educational and Clinical Child Psychology is offered by the School of Education.
Candidates lacking a degree in Psychology, who wish to apply to an MA program in one of the applied specializations, must take an extensive supplementary program. Admission requirements for the supplementary program include a minimum score of 700 on the Psychometric Test and a BA grade average of 90 or its equivalent in theoretical disciplines and 85 or equivalent in experimental disciplines. The supplementary program includes all undergraduate required courses and usually extends over two years. Afterwards, when applying to the MA program, these students will need to meet the same admission requirements as all holders of a BA in Psychology.
School of Business Administration (Mount Scopus)
Application deadline: August 31, 2022 (including submission of GMAT scores).
Candidates must take the Quantitative section of the GMAT .
Outstanding candidates may request to be exempted from taking the GMAT . In addition, candidates with significant relevant experience may request to pass an interview in lieu of the GMAT .
Students who did not major in Business or a related subject on the undergraduate level will be required to take supplementary courses during their first year of study.
Areas of specialization: Big Data Analytics (new), Biomed MBA, Entrepreneurship, Finance and Banking, Real Estate Finance, Data Science for Business, Marketing, Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Management, Operations Research and Operation Management.

Veterinary Medicine
- Studies extend over four years. Application deadline 15.5.2022.
- Candidates must achieve a minimum score of 600 on the Psychometric Test (general or QE) and be exempt from Hebrew and English-language studies. Applicants who scored high on the GRE may submit a special request to be exempt from the psychometric requirement. Our institutional code for the GRE scores is 0859.
- Candidates must have completed a recognized undergraduate degree in the last seven years in a relevant field.
- The degree final average/GPA must be equivalent to at least 85, according to the University’s conversion policies. Only the GPA given by the degree-granting university will be considered.
- All applicants with non-Israeli degrees will be considered by the special admissions committee. The committee will review additional grades submitted by the applicant.
- The undergraduate degree program must include courses in the following subjects with a minimum grade equivalent to 80 in each: Basic Immunology, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Endocrinology, Genetics, Human or Animal Physiology, Mathematics, Microbiology, Physics and Statistics. A list of the required courses can be found on the School's website.
- Candidates are also required to submit proof of fieldwork training with animals, according to the details on the School’s website.
- Accepted students are required to present proof of Israeli citizenship/permanent residency before finalizing admission.
