Converting ACT to new SAT :
You can use the concordace table in the link to convert your ACT score to an SAT score. You will then be able to get a general idea about admission prospect from the Mechina/SAT table.
Calculation of the quantitative score: 0.67*(average of Math and Science scores)+0.33*(average of English and Reading scores).
Remember - our code for receiving ACT scores is 2757.
Converting old SAT to new SAT:
a. Convert your total score, using the table in the link.
b. Convert your Math score, using the table in the link.
c. Deduct the Math score from the total score. You now have a Math score and a ERW score. Please note that the maximum score can only be 800.
1. General average: 0.50*math + 0.50*ERW.
2. QE (Quantitative Emphasys Average): 0.67*math + 0.33*ERW
3. VE (Verbal Emphasys Average): 0.67*ERW + 0.33 math
Round it up to 5 or 0.
