Amiram Exams

AMIRAM is a computerized English level placement test designated for two groups:

1. Candidates (including those accepted on condition) who have not yet submitted proof of English knowledge
2. Students and candidates who still haven't reached English exemption level and are interested in improving their level.

For your convenience, the Hebrew University conducts AMIRAM tests on the Mount Scopus Campus.

The AMIRAM test is identical in content to the AMIR test and the English section of the Psychometric Entrance Test.

You will receive your test score within up to 10 days, when NITE sends the scores to the Hebrew University.

You are allowed to take the test multiple times a year but must wait at least 35 days before retaking it.

Tests take place between 9:00 - 16:00. After payment, candidates are allocated times slots and cannot book themselves into desired time slots.

Online Registration:

Registration for each test date opens a month before the test. Candidates register for the date of their choice on the Personal Information Website under Studies -AMIRAM Exam Registration.

Payment is done by credit card on the website.

After payment, you will receive an email with an official invitation (including your time slot) and additional test information.

There is only a limited number of places available for each test session. Make sure to register early in order to guarantee a place!

AMIRAM test fee: 305 NIS

Registration opens at 10 AM.

Please note that only candidates and students from the Hebrew University are allowed to take the AMIRAM conducted on campus.

The AMIRAM test is not offered with special accommodations.

Cancellation policy:

If your cancellation request is received within 14 days of payment and no less than 2 working days prior to your test date, you will receive a refund of 95 % of the test fee (290 NIS).

If your cancellation request is received after more than 14 days after payment but still more than 2 working days prior to your test date, you will receive a refund of 65 % of the test fee (198 NIS).

Candidates who cancel or change dates of their registration less than 2 working days prior to the test date or do not show up for the test are not entitled to a refund.
